The Corners of Highland Heights: Community of Shalom

Transforming Community One Corner at a Time

The following are the Goals of The Corners of Highland Heights:

    • To have safer and more vibrantly connected neighborhood, one that is drug and crime free, one that persons would wish their children and grandchildren would live there.

    • To enhance or improve the overall health of the community especially those who are uninsured, underinsured and those who lack of adequate access to health and mental health and recovery services.

    • To provide positive, wholesome activities for children and young people outside the regular school settings and monitor the overall quality of life for children in our community.

  • To improve the economic and well-being of persons in our community who are unemployed or underemployed and whose living situations are marginal or substandard.

Highland Heights Community Archive

Each summer we conduct interviews with important residents of our neighborhood. These interviewees are pillars of the community and freely share their love and knowledge to the younger generations of Highland Heights. They tell us their experiences and share their wisdom for all to hear.

Focus for the Good

Many of the photos found on our website were taken by Focus For the Good.  They are a wonderful group of people to work with and are very good at what they do (which means if you see a picture on the site not quite in focus, it is not one of theirs).
